Advanced EOD Conventional Course at Camp Ripley Training Center

Explosive Ordnance Disposal technicians from across the Air National Guard, Air Force, Air Force Reserve, Navy and Wisconsin National Guard state partners from Papua New Guinea safely detonate unexploded ordnance with a variety of explosives and initiating systems as part of an Advanced EOD Conventional Course at Camp Ripley Training Center, Minnesota National Guard on September 20, 2023. Using an active impact area like Camp Ripley enables technicians to conduct realistic training that cannot be performed at home station. The Advanced EOD Conventional Course provides experience, validation, and confidence in using complex EOD tools and procedures. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Audra Flanagan)
