A contractor from Lockheed Martin installs the active electronic scanned array (AESA) radar on an F-16 Fighting Falcon assigned to the 148th Fighter Wing, Minnesota Air National Guard, on November 8, 2022 at the Duluth Air National Guard Base, Minnesota. In addition to the AESA radar upgrade, the 148th fleet is undergoing a dozen structural and strengthening modifications through the F-16 service life extension program (SLEP).
