An Aircraft Integrated Avionics technician assigned to the 148th Fighter Wing, Minnesota Air National Guard, and a contractor from Lockheed Martin install the active electronic scanned array (AESA) radar on the Wing's F-16 Fighting Falcons on November 8, 2022 at the Duluth Air National Guard Base, Minnesota. In addition to the AESA radar upgrade, the 148th fleet is undergoing a dozen structural and strengthening modifications through the F-16 service life extension program (SLEP).
