Toy Drive Raises Over $3,000

U.S. Air Force F-16C Fighting Falcon crew chiefs and other members of the 148th Fighter Wing display the children's toys that were purchased as the result of the Inaugural Ryan Ewald Memorial Toy Drive, December 16, 2013. U.S. Air Force F-16C Fighting Falcon crew chiefs and other members of the 148th Fighter Wing display the children's toys that were purchased as the result of the Inaugural Ryan Ewald Memorial Toy Drive, December 16, 2013. Toy and cash donations totaled over $3,000 and were donated to a local charity in the Duluth, Minn. area. Tech. Sgt. Ryan Ewald died September, 2013 from an ATV accident. Ewald served 15 years with the 148th FW and began a toy drive during this time. The Inaugural Ryan Ewald Memorial Toy Drive is a continuation of his earlier efforts.
