Jeff Graves has several titles. Maintenance man for the Nashwauk-Keewatin schools, Fire Chief for Keewatin, and Master Sgt. with the 148th Fighter Wing.

He's leaving his first two jobs, for the third, which includes a tour of duty in Afghanistan.

So the schools wanted to show him how much they care. A special ceremony was held on Friday in the gym at the Keewatin elementary. Songs, a poem, and several short speeches made an impact on Graves.

"I'm truly touched. It's nice to see this patriotism. All the energy the kids put into the music, it was moving," Graves said.

His two sons, Mason and Zeb, go to school there, and were part of the ceremony.

"I hope a lot of people pray for him," said Mason.

Graves leaves in January.
